The O'day Tempest
Restoration chronicle
This website has been developed to chronicle the purchase, restoration,
launching, and sailing of my
1966 O'Day Tempest Sailboat
My hope is that this site
will offer some insight, ideas, and laughs to anyone who may be contemplating
the
purchase of an older
sailing yacht and fixing it up.
Please check back often to see
pictures, stories, and articles relating to the Tempest Model and the yacht
Tempestuous.
Tempestuous
Tempestuous has been sold. Tempestuous
is the new pride and joy for a very nice couple from nearby Massachusetts. I'm
very happy to say that while Tempestuous is in new hands, she will continue to
sail Rhode Island waters! I hope to see Tempestuous and her new owners on the
bay!

Ok, as
of 2/8/2006 I have added an Outlaw Photo
gallery, more pictures of Tempestuous from
2005, pictures of Tiny Tempest, pictures of
other Tempests, started the product review and a
few other little things. |

I plan
on seriously updating the site in the next month
or so, which will include a section devoted to
Tempestuous' big brother the O'Day Outlaw. If
you have any ideas, pictures of your Tempest or
Outlaw or anything at all please contact me and
send the pictures my way. I also want your
suggestions on how I can improve the site and
